“Mandate” Thursday begins the three most important days of the year for a Christian: the triduum. We begin by commemorating Jesus’ final moments with his disciples: washing feet, the last supper, and the command he gave to them.
Good Friday

On this solemn day we recall the suffering and death of Christ at the hands of sinners. Many Lutherans remember this day with quiet prayer, reflection, fasting, and many other practices.

Finally, he is risen! The vigil celebrates the end of the Lenten season with symbols of light, hope, and grace.

Easter Sunday continues the celebration of the vigil; most members will attend either the vigil or the Sunday service.
